The victim's name has not been released, but he is being identified as a 26 year old man from Grand Rapids.

Witnesses told police that people were congregating around the front of a home at 817 Geneva when the victim arrived and joined other family members.

The suspect initially fled the area, but police were able to catch up with her and arrested the woman in the 700 block of 6th Street.

An autopsy is scheduled for Saturday. The death is being investigated as a homicide at this time.
