Thursday forecast: Sunny, high near 90

The National Weather Service is calling for Thursday to be sunny in the Baltimore area, with a high near 90 and northwest winds 5 to 7 miles per hour.

Thursday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 75 and south winds 5 miles per hour or less.

Friday is expected to be increasingly cloudy, with a high near 92 and south winds 8 to 13 miles per hour. There is a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m.

Friday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 73 and northwest winds 8 to 14 miles per hour. There is a 60 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.
