Thursday forecast: Rain early, then clearing, high near 60

The National Weather Service is calling for Thursday to be rainy in the morning, then cloudy, then mostly sunny, with a high near 60 and north winds between 6 and 10 miles per hour. The rain is most likely to occur before 11 a.m. The chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between one tenth of an inch and one quarter or an inch are possible.

Thursday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 38 and north winds around 8 miles per hour.

Friday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 52 and northwest winds between 6 and 8 miles per hour.

Friday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 34 and winds becoming northwesterly around 5 miles per hour.
