Thursday forecast: Mostly sunny, high near 43

The National Weather Service is calling for Thursday to be mostly sunny in the Baltimore area, with a high near 43 and west winds 6 to 14 miles per hour.

A small craft advisory is in effect for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the tidal Potomac River.

Thursday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 35 and light and variable winds.

Friday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 52 and southwest winds 5 to 9 miles per hour.

Friday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 40 and west winds 5 to 7 miles per hour.
