As of 9 a.m. Monday, traffic was slow on the outer loop of I-695 near Greenspring Avenue in Baltimore County due to an accident.
An accident was slowing traffic on Snowden River Parkway near route 175 in Howard County.
A disabled vehicle was slowing traffic on the outer loop of I-695 near Security Boulevard in Baltimore County.
Some vehicles were prevented from driving on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge due to wind restrictions. Wind warnings have been posted for the Hatem Memorial Bridge near northeast Maryland.
Some intersections in Baltimore City are closed to traffic as a safety precaution. Closed intersections include Monument Street at Pulaski Highway, Aliceanna Street at Caroline Street, Falls Road at North Avenue and Clipper Mill Road near the Jones Falls Expressway.
The Maryland Transit Administration advises patrons that there will be no local bus, light rail, MARC or commuter bus service Monday because of Hurricane Sandy. In Baltimore, Charm City Circulator buses will not operate Monday. The Mobility service has canceled all scheduled trips for Monday and will only provide medical trips until 3 p.m. Monday.
There will be no Amtrak service Monday because of Hurricane Sandy.
