As of 8:30 a.m. Friday, traffic was slow on the inner loop of I-695 near Route 702, due to an accident.

Accidents were slowing traffic on Eastern Boulevard near Terrace Road in Essex and Holabird Avenue near Delvale Avenue in Dundalk.

Starting at 9 a.m. in Baltimore City, North Charles Street will be closed between Northern Parkway and Cold Spring Lane, due to the funeral of city police officer Forrest Taylor at Our Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, according to the Baltimore City Police Department.

Around 12:30 p.m., the funeral procession will begin from the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen and is expected to result in minor traffic delays on Charles St., Northern Parkway, I-83 northbound, I-695 westbound and I-97 southbound. Additional traffic delays are expected in the Annapolis area on Route 665, Chinquapin Round Road, and Forest Drive.

Monument Street is closed between Wolfe Street and Patterson Park Avenue in East Baltimore, due to sinkhole repairs. Maryland Transit Administration bus 35 has been diverted.

Until further notice, the No. 14 bus stop located northbound on Crain Highway at Furnace Branch Road has been temporarily relocated due to construction.

The Maryland Transit Administration is advising MARC patrons that trains on the Camden line are operating 10 to 20 minutes late due to a signal and switch problem.

There were no other major delays reported on area transit systems.
