Baltimore County police have identified the teenager killed Saturday when he was hit by a car as Michael Thomas Trulock, 13, a student at Parkville Middle School.
According to police, the teen was traveling in a vehicle that was making a left turn from a parking lot in the 8300 block of Harford Road onto southbound Harford Road. In the middle of the turn, he opened the passenger-side door and began vomiting and then fell from the vehicle.
It was at this point, police said, that the teenager was hit by another vehicle, which was traveling north on Harford Road.
The teen was taken to Franklin Square Hospital, where he died, police said. The crash is under investigation.
