Two men were stabbed on the same street in Edgewood Saturday night and investigators are trying to determine if the victims were attacked by the same people, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Department.
The stabbings occurred in the 1700 block of Meadowood Court, off Route 24 and near a convenience store. A 21-year-old man from Baltimore said he was stabbed about 10:40 p.m. and a 31-year-old man from Edgewood said he was stabbed about 11 p.m.
Monica Worrell, a spokeswoman for the sheriff's department, said it was possible the two men were stabbed at the same time in the same incident.
The man from Baltimore took himself to Upper Chesapeake Medical Center to be treated for wounds to his upper body. Police said the second victim walked to his house, a few blocks away on Harford Square Court, suffering multiple stab wounds to his upper body.
Worrell said the second victim was taken by ambulance to Maryland Shock Trauma Center. His condition was not immediately available, but Worrell said the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
Police said both victims said they were walking on Meadowood Court and somehow got caught up a dispute between other men. "We are trying to determine if the two stabbings are connected," Worrell said. Worrell said "it doesn't appear at this time to be gang or drug related."
