Serious shooting Saturday night on Greenmount Ave.

11:13 p.m. EST, November 24, 2012

Shortly after 10:30 p.m., Baltimore police reported a shooting near the intersection of East North and Greenmount avenues.

An adult man was shot, police said. Homicide detectives were notified because of the seriousness of his injuries, police said.

No other information about the shooting was made available by police Saturday night.

shooting and more shootings...we need a $1,000.00 award for the arrest and prosecution of these thugs who think it's okay to shoot anytime, anywhere and anybody in the City of Baltimore.

Put a bounty on their heads; the shooters will think twice when they know someone gonna get their name and face to the cops.

Mr. Kilar: Every time a person is shot it's a "serious shooting" and if you think because this instance occurred in Baltimore City that we believe otherwise you are WRONG!!! Sensitivity training or a more diverse workforce might alleviate this bad writing/reporting in the future Baltimore Sun.

The article states that no other information was made available by the police other than a shooting occurred at the intersection of North Avenue and Greenmount.

However, that intersection has an overhead CCTV camera, along with a Rite Aid with a brightly lit parking lot and six overhead street lights. The police should be able to tell us in detail what happened and who did it, and show us the video.

I don't know why we pay for all this technology when the cops are too stupid to figure out how to use it.
