Two men and a woman were shot in separate incidents in Baltimore on Sunday, and the woman died at the scene, according to city police.

In the fatal shooting, police responded to the 6300 block of Fairlawn Avenue, at the intersection of Fordleigh Road in Northwest Baltimore, about 9:58 p.m. in response to a report of a shooting and found a woman shot, police said. The woman had a gunshot wound to the head and was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:05 p.m., according to city police.

As of 7 a.m. Monday, the woman's name and age had not been released.

Earlier Sunday, police responded to the 3400 block of Dudley Avenue about 1:43 a.m. in response to a report of a shooting and found a 30-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, police said.

The man was transported from the scene to an area hospital, police said.

The location is in Northeast Baltimore near Herring Run Park and not far from where a scientist was recently gunned down outside his home, prompting city officials to hold a public "solidarity walk" against crime in the neighborhood.

In the third incident, police responded to the 400 block of Lyndhurst Street, in Southwest Baltimore, about 12:46 p.m. in response to a report of a shooting and found a 28-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the arm, police said.

The man was also taken to an area hospital, police said. That shooting actually took place in the 3500 block of West Mulberrry Street, police said.

The identities of the victims have not been made public. Investigations are continuing.

Anyone with information about the Northeast shooting is asked to call 410-396-2444. Anyone with information about the Southwest shooting is asked to call 410-396-2488.
