Two dead after shootings Thursday in Baltimore

Two men were shot to death in Baltimore on Thursday morning, police said.

Lance Johnson, 40, died after he was shot during the night in Baltimore's Reservoir Hill neighborhood, according to a Baltimore City police report.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene when officers responded to a call at 1:25 a.m. about a man shot in the 2300 block of Eutaw Place.

Nine hours later, police responded to the 400 block of Laurens Street — in the Madison Park neighborhood and about five blocks south of the earlier shooting — for a report of another shooting, police said.

Kenneth Williams, 35, was taken to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center with multiple gunshot wounds and died within an hour, police said. Officers are continuing their investigation of both incidents.
