Motorists can expect additional traffic congestion Saturday morning on the way to the beach, as the ninth annual Bikers for Burn Survivors holds its fundraising ride from Hanover
to Kent Island.
Hundreds of motorcycles are scheduled to leave Cancun Cantina at 9 a.m., following Dorsey Road, Routes 170 and 100, then I-97 and Route 50, winding their way to Red Eye's Dock Bar, according to the Anne Arundel County
Professional Firefighters Burn Foundation. The ride is expected to continue through mid-morning.
Proceeds from the ride benefit burn survivors in Maryland and the Mid-Atlantic region, officials said.
