Officers, who arrived at the lodge in the 2500 block of Solomons Island Road around 1:07 a.m., discovered the three victims, who were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where they were in stable condition Sunday morning, police said.
The lodge is rented out for parties and other events. Online videos show the banquet hall, which seats 350, packed for previous events. On Saturday night, according to postings on social media, the lodge was hosting a party with live music. Attempts to reach the lodge's manager or Elks officers were not immediately successful Sunday.
Two suspects are being sought by police. They were described as a black male in his thirties, about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, of medium build and wearing a brown leather jacket and white pants, and a black male, also about 5-foot-9 to 5-foot-10, with a slim build and, possibly, a gold tooth.
Anyone with information should call the Southern District Detective Unit at 410-222-1965.
