A 21-year-old Annapolis man died Sunday night in a head-on collision on Harry S. Truman Parkway in Annapolis.
Brian Michael Hendricks was driving a 1999 Honda Civic eastbound on the parkway when the vehicle crossed the center line of the roadway and struck a 2011 Toyota Venza at about 8:53 p.m., Anne Arundel County Police said.
A passenger in the Toyota, 20-year-old Garrett Randall Sullivan of Annapolis, was transported to Shock Trauma and was in serious but stable condition. Julia Ann Bauguess, 33, of Chesapeake Beach, was driving the Toyota and received minor injuries.
A preliminary accident investigation suggests that Hendricks lost control of the Honda on a curve, police said. Weather and road conditions may have contributed to the crash, police said.
