Daily crimes reported by Annapolis Police Department

According to a release from the Annapolis Police Department, officers responded to 93 calls for service and arrested 13 people in the past 24 hours.

Here are a few recently reported crimes, according to police:

Theft from vehicle: Between 7:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. Monday, an unknown suspect removed a black Gucci purse, money and Christmas presents from a vehicle in the 1000 block of President St., according to police. There was no sign of forced entry to the vehicle, police said.

Burglary: Between 4 p.m. Monday and 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, an unknown suspect entered a vacant residence in the unit block of Monument St., possibly through an unlocked second-floor rear window, police said. Nothing appeared to be missing or damaged in the residence, according to police.

Theft: Between 4:30 p.m. Dec. 14 and 9 a.m. Monday, an unknown suspect removed over $150 worth of gift cards from an unlocked desk in a large office in the unit block of West St., police said.
