Teens arrested after string of robberies near Patterson Park

Baltimore police arrested two teens after additional officers were deployed in the neighborhoods around Patterson Park where four robberies were reported Friday.

Southeastern District Major William Davis said the shift commander recognized the pattern of two teenagers, who were using a BB gun to rob victims, and deployed officers into the area.

A woman told police she was approached at about 4:30 p.m. by two males who had a gun and attempted to rob her in Patterson Park, near Linwood Avenue.

Another victim called police and reported an early robbery in the 900 block of S. Streeper Street.

Later that evening, a third robbery was reported in the 2100 block of Fairmount Avenue, where the suspect descriptions matched that of the earlier two.

A fourth robbery occurred at 10:30 in the 300 block of S. East Ave., near where Officer Isreal Vilodas stopped a 17 and 18-year-old. Detectives identified the teens, who confessed to all four robberies.
