First question: What do you think South Dakotans have to be most thankful for this year?
In the Aberdeen area, we are very thankful for our economic growth and opportunities, contrary to many national trends. Let’s all remember to share that news with others who may be able to come back to our area to live, work and play.

For the beauty of our state, we have a diversity of land, as we have of the weather. I traveled a lot in our state this year, and was proud to call it home.
The greatly enhenced agriculture economy with a real vision of support for the beginning young farmer program.
South Dakota and its citizens are still living with a great quality of life daily in spite of the hard winters and flooding this year. Many love hunting and fishing whenever they can. Our coffee group meets daily six days a week and all enjoy the local banter and gossip.
Second question: What are your and your family traditions for Thanksgiving weekend?
Watching the Macy's Parade and the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes while the turkey is cooking are our favorite ways to spend Thanksgiving.
