Fast-Paised review: 'Little Man'

MoviesMarlon WayansShawn WayansMusic Industry

Diminutive jewel thief Calvin (Marlon Wayans) poses as a baby to recover the stolen diamond he dumped off on unwitting couple Darryl (Shawn Wayans) and Vanessa (Kerry Washington). Unfortunately, set in Chicago.

Big question: Is there any entertainment to be had from this ridiculous concept?

Skip it: Forget the fact that only Vanessa's crazy father (John Witherspoon) thinks the guy with a 30-something face, fully-grown genitals and a mean kick to the groin might not be an infant. "Little Man" is a very strong candidate for the year's worst movie, providing no laughs, no intelligence and nothing but embarrassment for everyone involved.

Catch it: If you think "From the people who brought you 'White Chicks'" is a stamp of quality.

Bottom line: "Little Man" is so childish and absurd that there should probably be a law against seeing it. The penalty: seeing it again.

Bonus: Amuse yourself by imagining what the Wayans brothers will try next. Any of your ideas will be funnier than this one!

Matt Pais is the metromix movies producer.
