While serving in Egypt in support of U.S. efforts in Iraq, she was diagnosed with cancer. She was assigned to the 3rd Armor Medical Company, Medical Troop Regimental Support Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson, Colo. |
