Michelle Marciniak

Michelle Marciniak, a Macungie native, was an All-American college and professional basketball player. She played point guard for the University of Tennessee before playing professionally for the American Basketball League. She went to the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000441" title="Women's National Basketball Association" href="/topic/sports/basketball/womens-national-basketball-association-ORSPT000441.topic">WNBA</a>, playing for the Portland Fire and the <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ORSPT000452" title="Seattle Storm" href="/topic/sports/basketball/seattle-storm-ORSPT000452.topic">Seattle Storm</a>. After retiring in 2002, she worked as assistant coach for the University of South Carolina.
