Hands-on garden workshops and an informational sphere show offered at Nurture Nature Center

Participate in two garden workshop opportunities and learn about the solar system at the Nurture Nature Center.

The following is a list of events as mentioned in the press release:

Garden Workshop Series: Rain Capture and Watering Systems – 6:30-8 p.m. July 31. Learn about what happens to storm water once it hits the ground and how to capture it in a rain barrel. Create and plant a self-watering pot. Cost: $15. Registration required.

Solar Energy Science on a Sphere Show – 6:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 7. Learn about solar power and how we can do it better.

Garden Workshop Series: Seed Saving – 4:30-6 p.m. Aug. 14. Learn about flowers and vegetables. Make a seed envelope and fill it with flower and vegetable seeds from the Recycle Garden. Cost: $15. Registration required.
