Are you ready to party, Mexican style? Or at least the Americanized version of Mexican style?
Cinco de Mayo, a celebration of Mexican pride, arrives on May 5, and the celebrations are all weekend in the Lehigh Valley.
Here’s a sampler of what’s going on:
Chili’s, 815 Grape St., Whitehall, 610-264-4400, www.chillistogo.com. The party starts at 4 p.m. Friday, with music by Sunshine Symphony, a live broadcast from WZZO’s Bearman and Keith, $3 margaritas and Coronas, $5 CoronaRitas and $3 Fajitas.
Big Woodys, 1855 Sullivan Trail, Forks Township, 610-252-4442, www.bigwoodysbar.com. Saturday celebration includes music by Trouble City All Stars 1-4 p.m. and UUU 5-8 p.m.. Also lawn games, quoits, cornhole, ladders and $3 Coronas.

Sunday celebration includes outdoor family fun and games benefiting The Center for Animal Health and Welfare, including dunk the bartender, bounce castle. Friday, buy one draft Dos Equis, get one for 2 cents; Saturday, special prices on shots of Tres Generaciones and a special Tres Amigos platter; Sunday, assorted beer bucket specials, and Monday, big bash with food and drink specials.
