Jack Callaghan’s Ale House in Allentown opens its doors 11 a.m. -4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, for a special “Sip and Shop” event. Men and women are invited to combine two pleasurable pastimes — shopping and drinking — in a relaxing, Irish pub atmosphere. A lunch menu will be available, and Trixie’s Treats bakery is dishing up samples.
Tracey Mathews, owner of Trixie’s Treats — which supplies Callaghan’s with seasonally inspired cheesecakes and other desserts — has assembled a collection of vendors offering a variety of wares and taking holiday orders. Retailers represented include national and local businesses, from Pampered Chef (kitchen tools and food products) and Mary Kay (cosmetics and beauty products) to Expression by Beller, a recently launched Lehigh Valley company that makes candles in 400 scents. Also choose from elegant silver jewelry from Silpada, aromatherapy products from Scentsy, totes and purses fro Thirty-One Gifts, food products and gifts from Tastefully Simple and assorted holiday goodies from Trixie’s Treats.
