Antonio Salemme Foundation – this art gallery at 542 Hamilton Street presents events throughout the year, including free salsa classes on Wednesdays.

Art in the Park – this long-time favorite brought to you by the West Park Civic Association takes place in West Park in June and features fine artists as well as live music, dance and theater.
Blues, Brews & Barbecue – presented in June by the city of Allentown and Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. Details at http://www.allentownpa.gov/blues
Halloween Parade – presented by the city of Allentown, this is actually the oldest Halloween parade in America. The 2011 parade is Sunday, Oct. 30.
Indian American Parade and Festival – presented Aug. 14, 2011 in the Arts Park by the Indian-Americans of the Greater Lehigh Valley. More information at http://www.allentownpa.gov/events.
Lehigh Valley Christmas – annual holiday concert featuring a sampling of the Valley's favorite musicians. Always the Sunday after Thanksgiving at Symphony Hall.
Lights in the Parkway – presented by the City of Allentown. This includes horse-drawn carriage rides and a nighttime 5k walk/run. See http://www.lightsintheparkway.com.
Mayfair Festival of the Arts – presented by Mayfair, Inc. Music, arts and food come to Cedar Beach Park in this annual Memorial Day weekend event. http://www.mayfairfestival.org.
Movies in the Park – presented by the city of Allentown. This series feature free movies in the city's parks. Details at http://www.allentownpa.gov/events.
Old Allentown House Tour – presented by the Old Allentown preservation Association, this year's Oct. 2 event is the 35th annual. Runs the same day as the West End October Fest at 19th and Liberty streets. http://www.oldallentown.org/housetour.
Party on the Deck – presented by the city of Allentown and partners, this takes place on the top of the old Hess's parking deck at Eighth and Linden streets. Scheduled for Sept. 2011, and more dates next year. http://www.allentownpa.gov/rooftop.
Pip the Mouse – originally part of Hess's department store, Pip now has a home in the Liberty Bell Shrine Museum and performs a holiday show. http://www.libertybell
Plaza Growers Market – presented by the city of Allentown and Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. Local produce is offered Wednesdays from 11:30 to 1:30 from June to October. See http://www.plazagrowersmarket.com.
Pride in the Park – presented by Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley, this is an annual event that takes place in August in Cedar Beach Park. http://prideglv.org.
