I Was a Teenage Werewolf

'I Was a Teenage Werewolf' (1957) After lying low for nearly a decade, the werewolf returned to Hollywood in this ultra-low-budget production starring future "Little House on the Prairie" and "Highway to Heaven" star Michael Landon as a troubled teen with mood swings and lycanthropy. The film was one of the highest grossing of the year and succeeded in introducing the werewolf legend to a whole new generation of teenagers. It was the debut production of Samuel Z. Arkoff's American International Pictures, which created many B movies of the '50s, '60s and '70s.
