New 'Trek' on TV?

<b>What?</b> "Pushing Daisies" creator Bryan Fuller recently told iF Magazine that he's pitched an idea for a new <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="ENMV000104" title="Star Trek (movie, 2009)" href="/topic/entertainment/movies/star-trek-%28movie-2009%29-ENMV000104.topic">"Star Trek"</a> TV series to his agent and the people on <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PECLB005325" title="J.J. Abrams" href="/topic/entertainment/j.j.-abrams-PECLB005325.topic">J.J. Abrams</a>' team. The plan, according to Fuller, is to bring back the sense of fun the original '60s series had. "Somehow, it got cold over the years," he told the magazine.<br>

<b>When?</b> Maybe soon, maybe never. The ways of Hollywood are more mysterious than those of the Q Continuum. But one thing's for sure, Fuller is a true Trekker -- those are his personal "Star Trek" figurines on display in his Silver Lake home.
