Blindness

Can’t say we want to talk about: “Blindness.” Julianne Moore usually makes smart choices. So does Mark Ruffalo (which is why a blip like “Just Like Heaven” is easily excused.) But the early word on Fernando Meirelles’ film “Blindness,” based on Jose Saramago’s novel about an outbreak of blindness that results in the collapse of society, was pretty bad. Don't say you weren't warned. (Friday) Ken Woroner / Miramax Films
