Amy Poehler, lead actress in a comedy, 'Parks and Recreation'

Claim to fame: Her eight years on "Saturday Night Live" brought her two Emmy nominations, and the second year of "Parks and Recreation" brought her a third nomination. Did you know: Poehler performed with Second City in Chicago before joining the improv group Upright Citizens Brigade. That group made several sketch appearances on "Late Night With Conan O'Brien" and had a sketch series on Comedy Central that lasted three seasons. Other credits: Poehler co-created the Nickelodeon animated series "The Mighty B!" Her voice performance on the series earned her a Daytime Emmy nomination.
