'The Social Network'

The somewhat real story of how Harvard college student Mark Zuckerberg ( Jesse Eisenberg) created Facebook and the enemies he made along the way. Oscar potential: The Oscar buzz started with Justin Timberlake and his portrayal of party guy Sean Parker, but since the movie opened, the focus has shifted to Eisenberg and his dark portrayal of the young billionaire. Overall the film impressed critics and did well at the box office, a big boost for director David Fincher and writer Aaron Sorkin. Review: Times' critic Kenneth Turan says, "the film about Facebook and its founder is well written by Aaron Sorkin, well directed by David Fincher and well acted by Jesse Eisenberg."
