As the name tells us, "Meerkat Manor: The Next Generation," will show the fallout in the Kalahari burrows following the death of its fearless leader Flower in Season 3. With the Whiskers family in disarray, the highly social, scorpion crunching creatures were at the mercy of their enemies, the Commandoes, the Zappas, the puff adders and goshawks. Flower's daughter Rocket Dog fought her way to a leadership position, only to lose a good portion of the family to her sister Maybelline who left the clan to form her own mob, the Aztecs.<br>

This season focuses on the bitter sibling rivalry between the two as they try to find suitable partners to help them lead and reproduce. Drama is plentiful as Zaphod, Flower's mate, does his best to scare off potential suitors. But in the shifting sands of the Kalahari, nothing is certain, and as the producers say, "Winners can be losers in the blink of an eye."
