Lloyd Wright house

Barbara Adams’ father-in-law challenged Frank Lloyd Wright to design a house that he and his son — Adams’ future husband — could build themselves. Wright’s son, Lloyd Wright, designed the Reseda home in 1939. The square house, 26 feet wide, has a roof angled to provide relief from the San Fernando Valley’s intense summer heat.
