In western Kenya's Rift Valley, Ruth Musiomi, 23, sits beside her family's home, which was burned to the ground in tribal violence triggered by the disputed presidential election last December. At the nearby Katata coffee farm, many homes were burned in an attack by members of a neighboring village. Jealousy over land and jobs fueled the ethnic violence.
