By now, you might have read that one of this year’s contestants didn’t start out life as a female. (You can <a href="http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/showtracker/2008/08/glaad-handing-o.html">spoil it for yourself</a> if you want, but it's more fun to guess.) Of course, she is more gracious and out-models the mostly flimsy competition. Plus: "Top Model" launches into space and introduces Tyra-bot, Alpha J and Beta Jay. Oh yes, the crazies are back.
