This multi-hyphenate is one of two grand slam award winners who earned an Emmy for guesting on a TV show. The other is Rita Moreno who won Emmys for appearances on "The Muppet Show" (1977) and "The Rockford Files." (1978). Brooks won three for playing Paul Reiser's eccentric Uncle Phil on this long-running sitcom. Brooks earned his Oscar for his 1968 screenplay of "The Producers" and three Tonys in 2001 for the Broadway musical version, which also won him two of his three Grammys (the first came in 1998 for a comedy album with Carl Reiner).
