John Larroquette, 'The Practice' (1998)

Larroquette kicked off a five-year winning streak in the guest actor category for this legal drama when he won in the show's second season for playing a murdering psychopath. That role was the polar opposite of the bumbling lawyer he portrayed on '80s sitcom "Night Court," which won him four supporting Emmys in a row (1985-1988). Larroquette picked up another nod for reprising that killer role on "The Practice" in 2002.Ron Tom / ABC
