Charles S. Dutton, 'The Practice' (2002); 'Without A Trace' (2003)

This two-time Tony-nominated actor brought back the thrill of live television with his comedy series "Roc" in the early '90s. Then he showed us his versatility with winning dramatic turns on these legal and crime procedural dramas. By then, Dutton had already earned a guest nod for the gritty prison drama "Oz" in 1999 and won the telefilm directing Emmy in 2000 for the even grittier miniseries "The Corner."
