Don’t miss the ultimate foodie event, The Baltimore Sun's Secret Supper

By Paul Sheehan If you ever thought there was no work for actors once they became eligible for AARP membership, just take a look at our honor roll of past Emmy winners in the guest actor and actress races. This week, six-time Emmy winner Carol Burnett appears in a rare dramatic turn on "Law & Order: SVU." She already has one guest actress in a comedy series Emmy ("Mad About You," 1997). Can she now contend on the dramatic front? Besides Burnett, many TV legends have added an Emmy or two to their collection by guesting on some of the hottest shows on TV. Indeed, Cloris Leachman owes four of her record eight performing Emmys to guest shots. The 20 guest winners profiled here own a total of 74 Emmys among them.
