Dr. Conrad Murray

The involuntary manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, the in-house physician to Michael Jackson, may have lacked the Hollywood appeal of a celebrity defendant. But it more than made up for that with revelations about the King of Pop himself and his tragic dependence on the anesthetic propofol for sleep. Murray was found guilty and sentenced to four years behind bars for causing Jackson's drug overdose death, but because of prison overcrowding he is not expected to spend more than two years in jail.
