SUNDAY

Death From Above 1979 After breaking up in 2006, DFA 1979 affirmed its resurrection with a blistering set in Austin at SXSW that caused a near riot when the excited masses were unable to enter. Members Sebastien Grainger and Jesse Keeler are once again hell-bent on turning the dance floor into a war path, echoed in the unholy squall of saw-toothed synths and pummeling beats. The result is some remarkably devilish dance music. Download: "Romantic Rights," "You're A Woman, I'm a Machine," "Black History Month (Josh Homme Remix)" -- N.J. Eva Michon
