Performance by an actor in a supporting role, 'Little Miss Sunshine'

Though anything with Steve Carell and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson ("Get Smart," 2008) is bound to be hysterical, and "Marley & Me” (2008) with Jennifer Aniston, and Owen Wilson promises hijinks, Alan Arkin’s turn in “The Private Lives of Pippa Lee,” due out in 2009, smells a bit more like Oscar bait. Arkin joins cast members Keanu Reeves, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Monica Bellucci, Winona Ryder, Robin Wright Penn and Julianne Moore. You'll also see him in 2008 in the indie film "Sunshine Cleaning," starring Emily Blunt and Amy Adams.<br>
