Wardrobe malfunction

Japan's Nobunari Oda came to an abrupt stop during his men's free skate program to identify the culprit messing up his triple loop: A frayed shoelace that had come undone, leaving one leg dangerously unsupported. Stopping to fix the situation caused him to lose out on points (and possible medal contention), but he nevertheless finished skating the final minute in his program without incedent, learning a valuble lesson: double- and triple-knot your laces. --Hanh Nguyen, Zap2itGetty
