What? Since 1996, William Shatner has been writing his own novels (with co-authors Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens) furthering the adventures of Capt. James T. Kirk. Never mind that Kirk got killed onscreen in " Star Trek Generations" in 1994; in the "Shatnerverse," Kirk lives to love another day. The latest, "Collision Course" was released in October 2007 and gives Shatner's own interpretation of Kirk and Spock's first meeting as teenagers (believe it or not, they meet in a strip club). In the book, Shatner promises that Kirk will return in "Trial Run," though no publication date is given. When? When the Shat is done writing, you can start reading. So hold your horses.
