Yosemite: A tree that fell

Look close as you step into the Wawona Hotel's dining room and you'll see these lampshades (and their dangling pine cones). The pattern commemorates Yosemite National Park's lone drive-through tree, in nearby Mariposa Grove. But that tree fell in 1969.
