Sir Barton

Sir Barton won the Triple Crown in 1919, becoming the first of 11 horses to achieve that distinction. Big Brown had hoped to make it 12 -- and the first in 30 years -- on Saturday with a win in the Belmont Stakes in New York. Big Brown's bid failed when he finished dead last in a race won by 38-1 chance Da’Tara.
