USC football: Dion Bailey looks for more interceptions

USC safety Dion Bailey intercepted a pass in each of the Trojans' first two games.

"That's a pretty good average so far," he said.

The junior would like to make it three in a row when USC plays Boston College on Saturday at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

The Trojans have intercepted six passes this season. Bailey got his eighth career interception in the first quarter against Washington State.

"That's just great pressure from the front four," Bailey said, citing Leonard Williams, George Uko, Devon Kennard and Morgan Breslin. "When you drop back [into coverage] you don't have to cover for long.

"When the ball comes, it's not going to be an accurate throw because it's going to be altered because of the pressure. The opportunity is there. I was just able to take advantage of it."
