The Deutsche Bank Championship in Norton, Mass., has restarted after a three-hour weather delay halted the third round of play.
PGA Tour officials are having the golfers play off the first and 10th tees in threesomes after pulling them off the TPC Boston course at 8:46 a.m. EDT because of rain and lightning.
The first group had already completed six holes of play when the decision was made to halt the round. All scores were erased and the third round restarted at 12:15 p.m. local time.
Sergio Garcia is the leader at 13-under-par 129 after 36 holes following a seven-under-par 64 on Saturday. Henrik Stenson, who tied for low score (63) of the second round with Justin Rose, and Roberto Castro are tied for second at 12 under.
The Deutsche Bank Championship is the second event in the four-tournament FedEx Cup playoffs. The top 30 players after the BMW Championship in Lake Forest, Ill., will play in the Tour Championship on Sept. 19-22 in Atlanta for the $10-million prize.
