Government shutdown deadline approaches

The House voted overnight to send a stopgap spending bill back to the Senate with provisions to undermine the Affordable Care Act. The Senate is not scheduled to reconvene until Monday. Without an agreement, much of the government will be forced to shut down Tuesday.
