John McCain and his wife, Cindy, enjoy some quiet time on their campaign tour bus in South Carolina. If McCain, 71, beats the odds and wins the Republican nomination and then the general election, he would be the oldest person to assume the presidency. Ronald Reagan was 69 when he entered office in 1981.
