North Palisade - mountain

A climber stands on a rocky ledge below the summit of North Palisade, California's fourth highest mountain at 14,242 feet. Some friends of the late David Brower, a mountaineer and  environmentalist who was the Sierra Club’s first executive director, want to rename the mountain for him. Others, including fans of Brower, stand opposed.
