Patch of the Apollo 11 mission

Apollo 11, the first manned mission to land on the moon, was launched on July 16, 1969. Neil A. Armstrong and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin Jr. walked on the lunar surface four days later. The mission patch was created by fellow astronaut Michael Collins, who piloted the Apollo 11 command module that orbited the moon.
